Tatting Patterns by Julia E. Sanders/Book Review (BellaOnline) () - 2007/11/10 02:02 This thread discusses the Content article: Tatting Patterns by Julia E. Sanders/Book Review (BellaOnline) ()

I am finding the Tatting Patterns book difficult to follow. It never seems to tell you if you should tie and cut at the end of a row and start the next row afresh. I am trying to do the bonbon dish and don't know if I should tie off after the 4th row or just keep going.
Except for very simple patterns I have pretty well given up on most of the items I have tried. I bought the book primarily because I wanted to do a bonbon dish but unless it gets explained to me a bit better I will give up on it too.
I would certainly appreciate it if someone can help me with this.
Thank you
